Research Institute Gives Heavy Hoop High Ratings

The Heavy Hoop was scientifically tested by a major aerobic research institute. Although the testing devise (computer connected breathing tube to measure oxygen displacement) restricted any upper body movement and limited the analysis to only a portion of the cardio training program, the Heavy Hoop recorded a METS (metabolic efficiency testing standard) burn of 12.50. What this means is that the Heavy Hoop burns more calories during a workout than teaching a high impact aerobics class, a vigorous bike ride or comparable treadmill run. The researcher believed that if the tests were not restricted that the results would have been considerably higher.
