Research Institute Gives
Heavy Hoop High Ratings
The Heavy Hoop was scientifically tested by a major aerobic
research institute. Although the testing devise (computer connected
breathing tube to measure oxygen displacement) restricted any upper body
movement and limited the analysis to only a portion of the cardio training
program, the Heavy Hoop recorded a METS (metabolic efficiency testing
standard) burn of 12.50. What this means is that the Heavy Hoop burns more
calories during a workout than teaching a high impact aerobics class, a
vigorous bike ride or comparable treadmill run. The researcher believed
that if the tests were not restricted that the results would have been
considerably higher.
What that means for you is
